Purpose, goals, and desired outcomes:
The committee sets goals and objectives, provides insight, supports the CMIT Level sub-committees, and conducts outreach for the Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT) certificate program.
Duration:
Two-year term, limit of three terms.
Time commitment:
Monthly committee calls (1-2 hours); attendance at one or both national conferences.
Eligibility:
A CMCI Credential in good standing.
Requirements:
Knowledge of the 91传媒制片厂 Capstone: An Introduction to the CM Profession or the 91传媒制片厂 Standards of Practice, and the latest trends in the construction management industry. Preference for those who complete training on exam development best practices and have previous volunteer experience, particularly with A/E/C organizations. All committee members must sign a Non-Disclosure and Committee Guidelines Agreement.
Key success measurements:
CMIT program follows credentialing best practices for exam development, fairness, and validity. The number of CMITs grow at consistent levels, including among 91传媒制片厂 member firms, military, trades, and A/E/C college/university programs.
Committee/task force make up:
No more than one voting member shall be employed by any one (1) given organization. Candidates should include a letter of endorsement from their employer, letter of intent, and resume. New committee members are approved by the current committee and ratified by the CMCI Board of Governors.
